0303F: Rained In Weekend

Sunday - Dory Pasta

The weather is still pretty bad tonight. At least there was some sunshine this afternoon, so that provided some relief. But the rains came roaring back around sunset, so here we are again. We haven't really left the Sietch this weekend apart from quick errand runs here and there.

Last night, we ended up re-watching the first two Tom Holland Spider-Man movies on Netflix as idle entertainment. Between other tasks, Tobie and I worked on some MTG Commander decks and tested them on 1-on-1. I also added more board game reviews to the Geeky Guide on top of getting this week's article about animeeples out. I've been feeling guilty about somewhat neglecting the site in recent weeks, so it was nice to dive back into things and get the number of reviews over 450. Since I don't have work tomorrow, I'll see if I can push myself to get to the 500 mark if I'm inspired enough.

I'm nearly done with the third Dungeon Crawler Carl book, and the series has been a pretty entertaining romp so far. We've had a lot of idle indoor time with the weather, so I've mostly been reading while catching up with my steps. We woke up too late for the village market this week, but it wasn't a total loss since it's the fancier one and not the Kadiwa market.

At least we still had our online Pendragon RPG session this afternoon as our main activity. That's why we didn't have time to go to the market, but it still felt like the better use of our time. It was a good session as our knights are approaching the end of the Green Knight quest. Despite knowing some iterations of the lore, we still have no true idea how all this is going to resolve for Gawain. But I can feel it's promising to be a fulfilling ending.

Let's hope for better weather in the coming week. Staty safe, everyone.
