02F0F: Filling Up The Weekend

Thursday - Frankies Lunch

The last hour of my workday was filled with a number of interesting emails from different clients. It's a lot of good news, but it's also a lot of work. I already foresee that tomorrow is going to be a very busy Friday shift indeed. What a grand way to end the workweek!

Don't Dare to Dream/Jealousy Incarnate is proving to be a very delightful K-Drama. It definitely leans more towards rom-com, and some of the situations are absolutely ridiculous. But that's where the comedy lies - that and the pretty good cast of primary characters. We have until the 14th to finish it, but I'm pretty sure we're going to make it in time. The last one we might blitz is Dr. Romantic, but thankfully, it'll be on the platform until later this month.

The upcoming weekend actually isn't going to be very busy. We have a friend coming over on Saturday afternoon, but he won't necessarily stay late. Then we have an RPG session on Sunday afternoon. Our Friday and Saturday nights remain quite free. I am tempted to try to find people to drag over for late-night gaming, but that also feels like too much work. Things were pretty busy last weekend with Komiket, so we might as well take it easy, right?

Beyond the typical backup activity of asking friends to play board games with us online via Board Game Arena (to spare anyone travel to the south), there are still different board games we haven't had the time to learn. I keep saying we'll do this, but we haven't had a chance to really dive in because of different things getting in the way. I do not want a repeat of my extra-busy Friday night the other week - that really put a damper on our initial plans and started the weekend on a very weird note.

In short, I'm aiming for balance tomorrow. I will do my best to clear all of my work stuff within working hours in order to have Friday night free for some domestic geekery. Wish me luck!
