Yesterday's "summary note" didn't include my potential need to replace my phone in the next 2-6 months, but I also realize that I never blogged about it. Quick summary: a green vertical line appeared on my phone after one of our O Bar nights, which means a screen issue that'll only get worse. Oddly, the line disappeared after another O Bar night, but I know this issue isn't fully gone. It's only a matter of time before things progress to a really bad state, so I'm steeling myself for this spike in expenses. At the same time, I'm trying to wait for some sort of sale or deal to lessen the blow.
In vague news, today was a good day for very personal reasons. On the surface, it's not at all a big thing. But to the right person, it was a much bigger thing. And how that personal value and perspective change things so drastically is a form of magic all on its own. Moments like that really help to keep you going despite everything else going on in the world.
Now I need to blitz a Geeky Guide article so I don't sleep too late. Tobie has a booth and a workshop at Komiket this weekend, so we need to get up bright and early.
