My day started with a nasty bit of asthma flare-up. I woke up somewhat congested, but a few puffs cleared that. But it would flare up again, and then I'd need to puff again. I probably puffed more than I should have within such a limited period of time, but I was grasping (or gasping - haha?) for relief. I took an anti-allergy tablet to help supplement things, and then I calmed down fully.
Then we had some actual traffic to deal with on the way to the office - which is highly irregular in Singapore. We were in the car for like 2 hours, which feels longer than our transit between Singapore and Johor. It was crazy. We never quite pinned down why it was so - it might have been this big tech conference at Marina Bay Sands, or maybe just the F1 preparations, or a combination of both. At least it wasn't so crazy during our ride home in the afternoon.
Then I didn't get to meet the O Bar performers who are based in Singapore at the moment due to one or more complications. It's a shame, but their free time is limited. There's always next time, whether here or back in Manila.
The month is almost over, and my reading has been steady, but I don't think I outpaced August, which overall is still behind pace for the end of the year. I really need to address things so that I don't get overwhelmed by the end of the year. We're entering the last quarter, so it's push time, in a way.
