We're back in Singapore after our one night in Johor. We didn't get to do all that much beyond eating good food, staying in the Airbnb unit, and doing most of the same things we would have done at my sister's place. But that's how we are as a family - we're professional staycationers, and we'll end up in any country and mostly stay indoors.
At least I got a good amount of reading done. That's always a nice way to spend a weekend.
The journey back to Singapore wasn't particularly eventful. Plus the traffic getting across the border wasn't too bad either, so that's a blessing. We had a hearty Indian dinner, then we'll all need to get ready for the new workweek ahead.
I'm here for another week, which feels long, but I know the time will just blitz by quickly, as it always does. I do hope to meet up with some O Bar staff friends before I fly out, so fingers crossed that we'll have decent weather again.
