03064: Numbers Wednesday

Tuesday - Dory Pasta

Today started with a power outage. To be fair, it was a rare scheduled outage and one that was only going to last a few hours, but it was still a somewhat jarring start to the day. And it was an early one, so I woke up to the sound of the UPS for Tobie's CPAP kicking in and beeping a few times - all well before my usual alarms. Thankfully, power was restored on time, and I got to get through my workday.

I had to work on a number of media plans at work today, and it was a little weird that I had so many of them to do all at once. This was on top of other ads-related tasks that came in and needed to be resolved in turn. So it was a lot of number crunching of a different variety as I tried to get everything settled within the day. It looks like I'll need an early start tomorrow because of some of the stuff I had to work on today, so it's going to be a busy Wednesday overall.

I finally got to find the time to get Tobie to watch The Sheep Detectives, and he loved it. I had gotten to watch it during my last Singapore trip, so this was more of an alignment exercise. We also watched Coyote vs. Acme, and that was a lot better than expected. It definitely didn't deserve to get shelved in favor of a tax break - it was a surprisingly deep story that was also a celebration of the Looney Tunes characters.

Tobie has to sleep early because tomorrow is one of his teaching days at university. It's just as well, I suppose. Work will keep me pretty busy while he's away from the Sietch.
