Work was pretty busy, but at least not to a crazy degree. The day started out sunny, so I loaded laundry and got to hang it for a bit. But we had a bit of rain in the afternoon, so I ended up running them in the dryer anyway, then hung them out after the cycle to finish the job. And I cooked dinner, so that felt prudent. One more home-cooked meal means less money wasted on delivery.
Merriam-Webster now has a Time Traveller feature (you can try that link) that lets you see which words were first recorded in print. I had seen a few contacts post a few words of interest from the year of their birth, so I figured I'd give it a shot. And the list feels like a weird slice of 80s life.
