Work was a LOT today. I had a significant amount of ad campaign work to clear, and that took up most of my day. That's a lot of detailed and often tedious work, which makes things feel like even more work at times. I cleared what I wanted to cover by the end of the day, but man, it was still a LOT. My brain doesn't quite want to brain right now, but let's get through this blog update and see if that helps somewhat.
We finished the first season of The Penthouse the other day, and the show really is quite bonkers. I guess this is officially our first makjang, which means it's meant to be totally over the top. On that note, it totally delivers, but I just wish we had an actual "good" protagonist we could root for. Instead, the bad guys are SUPER bad, and even the relatively "good" people tend to do some reprehensible things in the name of justice or revenge. We're taking a break from the show first and have started Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung as lighter entertainment. We've only watched the first episode thus far, but the show gives me hope.
We've also finished the latest season of House of the Dragon, and I'm just "okay" with this show. The show has yet to feel as gripping as Game of Thrones did in its heyday, and there are times I just tune out. At least we still have Star Trek: Strange New Worlds to look forward to.
