*Big sigh of relief*
At least that's one immediate concern resolved for now. There's more to be done, but the immediate concern has passed.
Continuing from my last blog update, last night's gaming continued on through a fun romp through various games of lighter to mid-weight difficulty. After a quick round of Trishaw Frenzy, we introduced our new gaming friend to titles like Love Letter, Tacta, and Splendor: Pokémon. Then we deepened things with games like Takenoko and Forbidden Desert. It was a fun way to revisit many well-loved games along with a few newer ones that have proven to have a wider appeal. The most important thing is that everyone had a good time, and I think this weekend has yielded two gamers we could meet up with more regularly for game nights.
These past few days have been a weird mix of stress and joy and everything in between. I hope the coming week, or even my birthday month, isn't quite as "eventful" in that regard.
