Our LGBT Pride weekend began with...a power outage. After staying up late to give me time to finish this week's Geeky Guide article, I woke up earlier than expected to find Tobie already trying to fan me in my sleep. Apparently, two wires that shouldn't have made contact with one another did, and that knocked out power in the village. We had to wait for Meralco to repair the damage, and power didn't come back until close to noon. I did fall back asleep at some point before the power restoration and...dreamed about the power coming back.
We didn't have anything else planned for today, so it was more about saving up energy for tonight's Pride festivities. Tobie wasn't feeling well, given the lack of sleep and other complications, so after a nourishing lunch, he took a nap, and I alternated reading, walking for steps, and processing O Bar videos. I just wanted to stay "productive" and cleara as much space from my phone as possible, so that I can take even more photos and videos at O Bar later tonight.
We didn't march this year but it looks like the various Pride celebrations went pretty well. We had generally good weather today versus the past few days, so that's a nice Pride blessing.
