Today was a diversely busy day. Despite working on some work-related items last night, I still had a lot to do today, and I think I'll need to squeeze in some work over the weekend. I won't be alone - it's something important enough to merit some weekend time. But we'll see how things go.
We also got to go to Books Kinokuniya today, which also meant access to the greater Ngee Ann City mall. I still did my rounds of the shelves, but my main distraction was wanting to check out the LEGO store upstairs to see if they had the Tintin Moon Rocket in stock. I've been seeing it on the official LEGO website for Singapore, so it felt like a worthy gamble. However, the (franchise) store there didn't have it, nor did any of their other branches. So I tried ordering it from the LEGO website directly, and it should get delivered to my sister's place within 2-3 business days. At least I found out sooner rather than later. The store clerk mentioned that they get restocked on Tuesdays, but I didn't want to gamble on that given my limited time in the country.
Tonight, I just need to figure out my Geeky Guide article for the week, as I've had zero time to work on the site since I got here. The nephews have several activities lined up for tomorrow, so I can't stay up all night like I usually do on Fridays. I may not join their morning stuff, but I definitely want to keep the afternoon free for them.
Oh, and I've actually made plans to meet up with different friends on Sunday. Yay me. LOL
