The past 24 hours have felt like a lot of catch-up work outside of my actual job. I worked on this week's Geeky Guide article last night and only eked out the minimum 2 more reviews needed to get it out. But that whole process took longer than normal since I was pretty sleepy, yet I persisted despite diminishing returns. But I feel like I need to work on writing more reviews this weekend to make up for my lack of productivity in the last week.
Today, I made sure to process another night's worth of O Bar videos because we're going out to O Bar for a birthday event later. My video queue is down to 3 nights, and I think I can clear that in the coming week, so I'll be in a more comfortable position - plus it'll free up more memory on my phone.
We've also watched a lot of different things during all this. We finally finished the first season of Heated Rivalry, and it was pretty good, but not quite amazing as some people online tried to present it as. I am a bit more interested in reading the books sooner rather than later. We also killed time with Rebel Moon: Part Two, and it was even more nonsensical than I expected. But outside of that, we also made progress with our current ongoing shows, All of Us Are Dead and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
Oh, and in the middle of all this, I asked Tobie if we could play a few games on Board Game Arena so I could feel like a proper geek on the weekend despite all the stuff I was busying myself with. So we got to try out Hey, That's My Fish, which Tobie won, then we played a hearty game of Wonderous Creatures, which I won. Good stuff.
We have an RPG session tomorrow, so that should help balance things out. Have a good Saturday night, everyone!
