Our holiday has been rather mild, which is a good thing in itself. We had a late massage last night, then stayed up to watch another episode of Can This Love Be Translated?, and still had time to explore an Exit: The Room escape room puzzle game before bed. Then our main agenda item for today was a foot spa session in the afternoon, so also got to sleep in.
To balance things out, Tobie and I walked a good 5 km around the village as exercise. Our pace was pretty moderate, but at least it was some steady physical effort across a sustained period of time. I'm really enjoying our walks together, as we also get to talk about different things at the same time.
We're spending the last hours of this shared holiday playing board games with a friend online via Board Game Arena. Beyond not needing to travel to game, the platform also lets us play with friends who are currently overseas because the internet connects us all regardless of where we are. And that's precisely the scenario tonight. And to balance my need to make progress with my personal projects, I'm at least drafting more game reviews while we play. There are over 1600 games in our collection after all, so every additional review is more content that should help draw in more traffic, and thus more potential ad clicks or affiliate traffic.
I do intend to work on more O Bar videos later, after we finish gaming. I still don't have work tomorrow, so my main goals are to get some real-life concerns addressed at my two banks. Then I hope I can allocate the rest of the day to setting up more of the pages needed to get the Geeky Guide running.
