There was still a lot of work today, but it was a relatively quiet workday. As much as there's still a half-day of work on Monday, the two-day Chinese New Year holiday clearly has a lot of clients already checked out for a long weekend. Small blessings.
Tobie and I walked to the little cafe in the village park and had dinner there. We've only started patronizing the cafe this year, but it's proven to be a relatively affordable nearby dining option. Then we got to get some exercise in by walking around the whole park a few times until we covered at least 3km.
We're staying in again tonight, and my main goal is to get more work done for the new Geeky Guide. I have the frameworks for the board game reviews pages and the imported blog content from the original Geeky Guide in place, apart from a few tweaks. I'm hoping to get the homepage settled tonight, so I can feel like the site is really coming together and isn't just a collection of seemingly random CMS-driven pages.
I super appreciate that Tobie has been generally supportive of my efforts. Getting Webflow in order is taking a lot more time than I'd like, and that's time we could have spent playing board games together or something. Just another reason why I'm so lucky to have Tobie as a partner.
