Today was better workday. Not a lot of drama. Only one big meeting. Most of my time was devoted to finishing a big report, which still took me well past my usual clock-out time to finish. But at least that one is done. I still have other reports that need my attention tomorrow. It'll be a fun end to the week!
In between processing O Bar videos, I've made some serious progress with the Geeky Guide revamp. I've finally settled on a site template to use, and I've pulled the trigger on starting my site subscription. Now comes the tedious work of designing the site and setting up the CMS that will receive the post information from my Airtable database. Once I pay for an import/connection service, then I'll be able to confirm whether or not my database and the CMS fields all line up correctly.
I've even started a ledger to track my project expenses, and hopefully, when I start earning money to recover my expenses. LOL
Don't get me started on figuring out the design. Even with the template, I still have to figure out where everything will go and which elements I'll actually use to display my different blog posts. Plus, the default colors of the template have a strong Grammarly green vibe, and I'm working with Gemini and Tobie to help me settle the other stuff. There are a lot of tools for figuring out colors for your design, apparently.
We don't have anything scheduled for tomorrow, so I think I'll be able to push things along. He's running another RPG one-shot earlier in the evening, so I'll always need something to do in the meantime. We have friends coming over for board games on Saturday, and finally an RPG session on Sunday. That's a healthy enough weekend.
