Work was a LOT. Again. I got a bunch of stuff done, but I feel like I gained just as many tasks, and I'm going to become a whirlwind of updates as I try to clear the rest of my stuff tomorrow. Both people inside the company and our clients are going to get EVEN MORE messages from me tomorrow because it is one of those weeks, I suppose. And we have a friend coming over for board games tomorrow, and I REALLY don't want to end work late as I try to clear the last of this week's task queue. Wish me luck!
Tobie and I are still tinkering with Magic: The Gathering Arena. I got access to all the starter decks and quick events for one reason or another while Tobie is still locked in a rather tedious series of training exercises. We're at least able to play against one another using said starter decks, but we both don't have sufficient cards to make a decent original deck. I've kitbashed elements from the starter green decks and the Final Fantasy chocobo deck to create an oddly slow landfall deck. But clearly, I still need more cards to make anything truly sensible.
If anything, we'll be able to get some taste of the upcoming Lorwyn Eclipsed expansion, provided we invest the game's "coins" into whatever launch events they have planned. I'm okay with this as a weird free-to-play experience on the side.
Starfleet Academy has started airing, and Netflix has a new series called Agatha Christie's Seven Dials, which I'm kinda excited about. So I guess this helps address my questions in yesterday's blog about what to watch next. New shows are coming along, so that's something.
Almost the weekend.
