02F4B: Starting Another Week

Monday - Chicken Bacolod

Today is a local holiday, so Tobie got to sleep in while I still had to work. We're pretty used to this routine by now - I'm just glad that I managed to wake up on time without Tobie's help (since he typically starts work earlier). It was a good enough workday - what can you expect from a Monday, yeah?

We've managed to distribute a good portion of our planned gifts for the O Bar staff, and all but one of my Christmas gifts has arrived, so things are moving along. We still need to do a bit more Christmas shopping for Tobie's side of the family, then everything should be covered. It has been a fairly efficient holiday season thus far. And the early gifts have been well-received, so that's all that matters.

Oh, and over the weekend, a friend helped me secure the new Lego Star Trek Enterprise-D set. The box is HUGE as the figure consists of 3,600 pieces. I don't know how or when I'll find time to build it with my Singapore trip being just around the corner. And Tobie and I haven't figured out where to put the completed model when it all comes together. The YouTube videos and other online depictions of the finished ship stress that it's HUGE. Fun geek problems indeed.

Let's hope the rest of the week brings answers to such niche questions.
