The bulk of our gifts for the O Bar staff arrived today, and now we look a bit like a weird warehouse - more than normal, to be fair, since the Sietch is overloaded with hardware shelves filled with board games and other collectibles. Now we just need to figure out when to bring all this over to O Bar so we can distribute stuff accordingly. Usually, we'd aim to gift out gifts during the night of the anniversary event since that would guarantee the most complete attendance for staff and performers. But this year's 20th anniversary celebration is extra special and at an alternate venue so...that is sort of messing things up.
I've already been sharing the gifts for some of the performers as they arrived since waiting for the anniversary event isn't very feasible. And I think we'll try to do the same across the next few times we to to O Bar in order to whittle away and our pile of gifts and recover some space at the Sietch. That still leaves the need to figure out how to cover the people we don't catch the nights we go, especially since we tend to go during off-peak nights, which is when staffing levels are lower.
We'll still end up bringing some stuff with us during the big event night, but hopefully we'll have covered most of the O Bar family and won't have crazy big bags with us. I'm still not sure how that's going to work out.
There are the things that I'm worrying about this holiday season. Priorities, yeah?
