My workday was focused on making up for us taking leave yesterday, but it wasn't too crazy. A lot of busy work for sure, and there's still more to do this week, but I think I ended on a good note. That's all that matters for now.
As I start writing this blog post, Cloudflare is having major issues and is taking down random parts of the internet. Social media services like X/Twitter are unusable at the moment, and earlier, I couldn't access Trackt, the service I used to track what shows we've watched and such. At least Netflix is working, so we're still able to watch our shows. But the rest of the internet is not quite fully working for the immediate future, it seems. Intermittent access to the internet can often feel worse than no access to the internet, if you get my drift.
Our main K-Drama is Boys Over Flowers, and it seems to be another show from this time period, when leads like Lee Min-ho need to be jerks who try to neg their way into romance. It feels very problematic, but hopefully it gets better at some point - but I'm not holding my breath on that front. Yesterday, I loaded Too Much on Netflix accidentally as I was looking for a rom-com movie to play and ended up with this mouthy series. Now we're just sort of tolerating it as background viewing until we get to the end. It's a shame since there are a lot of notable stars, but it feels like a weird effort to cross Girls with something like Fleabag - including setting it in the UK. There are great aspects to the writing, but the lead character is very difficult to endure.
Ah, well, back to sorting through my media things.
