So Enrile is dead. I'll just leave that statement there.
On top of everything else today, I had to conduct an interview at work. I'm not complaining - it's a very important part of the job. But it tends to take up a fair amount of my time, only because we make a serious effort to really get to know the candidate as well as we can within the constraints of an interview. Even when I don't feel strongly about a candidate, I need to go through the complete process because things may turn around, and maybe we'll learn something new.
In very domestic news, I'm generally caught up on laundry - something that has been a rarity in recent weeks, given very mixed weather. The forecast for the weekend indicates that tomorrow should be fine for another load, but Saturday and Sunday may see some rain in the afternoons. I can work with that - I think I can skip washing laundry over the weekend and save up for the following week instead.
There's not much else to write about today, I think. Like many of you, I'm just hoping for a lighter Friday work shift, then a lot of reading over the weekend. We have an O Bar event on Saturday, so that has limited how much gaming can happen across the weekend. We'll still enjoy ourselves one way or another.
