I forget if I've mentioned on this blog that we have some unusual Halloween costumes prepared for this Friday night. We were supposed to go as a group thing with a friend, but he has shifted to another costume, and the rest of us were left with the elements we had purchased thus far. Since we already have them, we're going to still make use of them, even if the concept is completely different.
It is incorrect to say something like this, but these outfits may be the gayest thing I've ever worn. And as someone who has been living an out gay life since 2003, that's saying something, I suppose? But it really is, and I'm still second-guessing it. But at the same time, it's Halloween, and when else can Tobie and I do something crazy like this, right? What makes things funnier is that the "reference" is actually not a gay thing - it's just gonna look pretty gay on us, or something to that effect.
This year really is shaping up to be a rather interesting one on a number of fronts. I'm exploring a lot of new things this year while doubling down on things I know to be true. I love what I love, and I'm maintaining a rather tight social circle in light of other increasing disappointments left and right - but I am happy. Tobie and I are quite happy.
And this is going to be the gayest thing we'll ever do together. Maybe. Or at least publicly.
