02F10: Friday Quirks

Friday - Disappointing Tokyo Tokyo Dinner

I made it! There was so much we needed to cover at work today, but I managed to clear my task queue and ended feeling pretty good. I didn't even need to extend beyond our office hours to clear things - although I might be on standby in case I get updates from one or more clients within the next 24 hours. We'll see how things go.

So...the knob of our front door broke last night. Tobie was able to re-attach it, but it's on its way out for sure. We were hoping that a handyman could come in and replace it today, but we weren't so fortunate. Hopefully, he'll be able to come over tomorrow and resolve things properly. We at least have the screen door bolted at night to secure the Sietch somewhat, and it's not like our little home is directly facing the street. But it was...weird. Old house problems, I guess. At least we hadn't locked ourselves out or something, given how things went. That was sort of lucky.

Beyond that, it has been fairly quiet. The weather has been less than ideal, but not totally terrible. Just sporadic rains that haven't been enough to really cool things off, but also not bad enough to make the humidity unbearable. I once again have been unable to do laundry these past two days, but I mostly caught up with my queue by Wednesday, so I'm not stressing out about it either.

We don't expect to leave the Sietch much this weekend, so it'll be fairly quiet. I hope you all get enough rest, regardless of how you choose to recharge.
