I had to stay up a bit to finish building Lego Soundwave, but it was more than worth it. It's a great build, and it's nicely blocky like the original G1 toy. It even has a transformation sequence that is very similar to the original figure, down to the minor annoyance that Laserbeak and Ravage's weapons pods have no easy storage solution as part of the figure. Now that's some silly G1 accuracy.
Work was work - nothing exciting there. At least I ended the day feeling like I was pretty productive.
Now we're prepping for a trip to Dagupan tomorrow. Tobie is conducting a workshop, and the organizers were okay with me tagging along. I'll still work remotely while I can, as our company does have a Work From Anywhere policy, but it's nice to be able to join him. It's only a two-day event, so we'll be back in Manila by Thursday night. It'll be my first time joining Tobie on one of these roadshow things outside of Manila, so it should be an interesting experience.
In the meantime, I'm charging everything that I need to charge as we finalize what we're bringing with us. We have to leave the Sietch pretty early to rendezvous with the rest of the group in QC, so I'll wrap things up here.
