It has been a few days since I initiated a domain transfer from Squarespace to Namecheap for the Baduy Pride blog domain, and things haven't changed just yet. I know these things can take a few days, but I still keep checking, and the status still shows that Squarespace hasn't released the domain. I already disabled the auto-renew settings on the Squarespace side, so I have until the 15th until things go borky. But hey, I knew this would be a test before I migrate all other blog sites, so let's see how this goes. Fingers crossed for now and all that.
This morning was a little stressful since we had a weird confluence of events. We were expecting an electrician to come tomorrow to lay out a proper Ethernet cable to the new Sietch versus the jury-rigged solution we had arranged a few months ago. Instead, they arrived this morning, a day when I had three back-to-back client meetings scheduled in the morning. Tobie had a bit more liberty to watch the workers and coordinate efforts, but it was also stressful to juggle all that while I tried to get through my meetings. Thankfully, I ended up only needing to worry about two of the three meetings, and those calls went pretty well.
Today also marks the last meal for this week that has been prepared using food we took home from O Bar. Whenever we don't hit the table minimum within the night, we opt to order additional food items to bring home, and I dress them up with veggies so the barchow at least feels a little healthier. And we had a fair amount of leftovers this week, so that has stretched until today. And now the weekend is upon us, so it already feels a little late to grocery since we typically don't cook as much outside the workweek.
