I've made good progress with my reading goals this week mainly because I tried to be more strategic about my reading. I still adhered to my promise to read work-related material during work hours, but I also squeezed in batches of graphic novels to help move the needle more. It also helped that I invested free time in reading the Root RPG books, which thankfully have Goodreads entries. I'm still behind my needed pace for my end-of-year reading goal, but at least I'm no longer on the double digit zone for now. Cue sigh of relief.
I had to defer from processing any O Bar videos this week in favor of reading, but that's an acceptable trade-off. We don't have firm gaming plans for Saturday just yet and I figure I'll get to allocate some time to things like that. Gotta keep all the plates spinning.
At least we're still meeting up with friends for a board game session tonight as any week needs to end with proper gaming. Not everyone can stay late on Friday nights depending on how tiring their Friday workday had been, but it's still better than nothing. I don't know how we manage to push as hard as we do despite how old we are now - I guess we're just geekily stubborn that way.
Now go enjoy your weekend as well.
