Wednesdays have become a little weird as of late since Tobie has been making regular trips to the family house to make sure things are okay. We at least have dinner first and get caught up on this week's episode of Drag Race Philippines before he drives south as he has early morning obligations there that he needs to see to. This is a temporary situation for now as by next year we'll be based there, so that eliminates the need to travel.
Come to think of it, our weeknights have become rather busy given different obligations. Apart from Tobie's Wednesday-Thursday drives south, we now have occasional RPG sessions on Mondays and then Tobie has a regular game on Thursdays. That has pushed our grocery schedule to Tuesday nights...and that leaves Friday open for some post-workweek gaming with nearby friends. It's just as well - even if we didn't have as many things on the docket, we also haven't been able to walk around BGC after dinner because of the rainy weather in recent weeks. I'm still hitting my daily step goal, but that's about it.
I've also been on a break from my daily yoga after last week's back injury. The pain is fully gone now and I think it'll be safe enough to try again tomorrow morning. But I know I'll have to start gently and not over-exert myself again.
Put that all together, and I feel like I haven't been doing enough for my general fitness, what more any hopes of weight loss. It definitely feels like a bit of a rut and I really need to get back on track. Let's see how I manage to restart things tomorrow and proceed from there.
