Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 1144
The first workday after a long weekend is always a busy one, and today certainly felt like a Monday. I had been away even longer since we had attended a wedding on Friday, so there was a lot of catching up today. Thankfully, I was able to sort through my email inbox quickly enough and broke things down into the main tasks that needed to be addressed. We should all thank the little tweaks to the Gmail interface like the option to snooze emails that support the Inbox Zero (or related GTD) mindset.
There's still the rest of the week to deal with, but I think I got through today well enough. There are still things that I need to square away over the next few days, but I think today went as well as could be expected despite the workload and all the scheduled meetings.
I feel like I'm catching up on a lot of other things outside of work. I've fallen behind my reading goals, so that's kind of stressing me out a bit in the background. I still haven't organized the new shelf in a manner that allows us to store away the newer board games that are still living on the couch. And I still have a lot of O Bar media that I haven't been able to finish processing.
So now I'm going to read a comic or two, then work on an O Bar album and call it a night. I'm also trying to make sure we don't sleep too late, which is still a challenge most days. At the very least, tomorrow is immediately the middle of the work week, so things can only get better, right?
