Part of Paseo de Roxas was closed tonight after an accident involving the demolition of the old Mandarin Hotel.
Since Monday is Bonifacio Day, which is a regular holiday in the Philippines, people have naturally mapped out trips away from Metro Manila as is the practice for most during long weekends.
And since Monday is a holiday, most folks got their pay checks today instead, thus we have a lot of 3-day sales going on and other shenanigans.
Yeah, traffic is majorly messed up tonight. Uber surge rates are through the roof in some places. And Tobie and I will probably hang out here at the BGC office to wait things out in comfort.
Plus we have some board games with us, so we'll survive.
