We're at Rampa Club in QC tonight to catch the second birthday show of Precious Paula Nicole! And yes, this is a thing!

The last time I went to a different local gay/drag bar was... when Tobie first brought me to O Bar. That's something to think about.

01435: Books, Sushi and Onslaught

So at the end of a rather stressful work week, I started the weekend rather geekily with a trip to the 33rd Manila International Book Fair . I wasn't exactly expecting much given how these events go, but it seems almost traditional to make the pilgrimage and to help support the fair in general. Books always deserve our support, even if most of my book spending is invested directly with Amazon. Blame my Kindle . Beyond the usual mix of educational book sellers and Christian bookstores, the main points of interest were the stalls setup by National Bookstore and Fully Booked. National Bookstore had more of the same stuff and didn't seem all that different from your typical branch. But Fully Booked on the other hand felt a lot more like they were really invested in the whole book fair environment. I really appreciated how Fully Booked handled their stall at the fair. Metro Manila Community Quarantine - Day 388 I don't exactly go crazy for Lazada sale days, especially since my typical purchases as of late are keto food items and ingredients. But I do try to take advantage of whatever limited promotions happen to intersect with my needs. During the recent Lazada Birthday Sale, I ordered a bunch of keto items with minimal discounts (as usual) and used my one P100 voucher for a replacement pair of Bluetooth headphones since my current ones have stopped pairing for some reason. To be fair, I've used those headphones pretty much daily since I bought as they are my workout headphones, so I understand why they might have reached end of life sooner than later. The item was supposed to get delivered before the Holy Week and some of my keto stuff managed to arrive in that timeframe.
