After a decent amount of gaming last night, we managed to get ourselves back to the ABGF PH for Day 2 since Tobie had a panel on tabletop RPGs. We tried checking out the booths again before and after the talk, but we didn't feel the need to pick up any more games. At the very least, it was nice to see that many of the creators had sold out for many of their products, which speaks to the success of the event as a whole.
Here's to more Asian board game events in the future!
And now for the recap of yesterday.
We played a good mix of board games last night, including some of our new purchases from the festival. We opened with the heavier Ada's Dream, while the other table first played Pixies and later A Place For All May Books. They also squeezed in a round of 13 Animals, because it's always good to add that game in. During the next table shuffle, I facilitated a game of Kaki Lima Downtown KL, while Tobie had a test playthrough for Food Alley. We wrapped things up with a few rounds of Trishaw Frenzy and a non-scoring playthrough of Poetry for Neanderthals.
We didn't end as late as we normally would, given that many of us were tired and had other things to do today.
We still saw a few familiar faces at the event and had a hearty steak dinner after. Now, Tobie and I are just decompressing after a full weekend.
