Work today was busy but largely uneventful. That gave me a lot of time to focus on getting stuff done, but it also had me feeling like the whole experience was...dry? I'm not sure if that's the best adjective to describe the feeling. The only alternative would be MEH. But not every workday can be terribly exciting.
After a week or so of normal water service, we're back to seemingly random water service interruptions due to issues with raw water quality due to strong winds. At least, that's the reason that Maynilad gives everyone this year. I'm not 100% clear on what it even means. The effect is 12+ hour water service outages that aren't helping with the increasingly hotter summer weather.
I assembled the LEGO Speed Champions Time Machine from Back to the Future set (77256) last night and...it was just okay? The car mode based on the first movie was solid enough, but the futuristic version from the second movie was sadly lacking. I can accept that they didn't give the wheels the option to swivel into flying mode, but the solution for having the wheels in the horizontal flying position was terribly unstable. So I have the wheels back in fixed movie 1 position, but I included the Mr. Fusion engine from the second movie for aesthetics.
Next stop, my very dusty LEGO Dimensions collection. And eventually the LEGO Star Trek Enterprise-D.
