Today, Tobie ran a one-shot session of Flabbergasted at the Unusual Guild's A Fool's Day event. I was prepared to just watch in case all the game tables were full, but there was room for me to play, so that worked out. It was a fun little game system, although I think it just reminded us more of other game systems that we really like (or even like more). But hey, it's good to keep trying new games and not get overly focused on one or two game systems. That would be pretty boring, after all.
That completes our scheduled activities for this weekend. It would be nice to find other friends to game with, but I guess we're just going to stay in and rest. To be fair, we've been trying to catch up on sleep for a few nights now, so maybe we'll get things in order tonight.
On the flip side, I still have O Bar videos to process, and I feel like I need to put more work into the Geeky Guide. I barely got caught up when I rushed this week's update on the Proficiency Perks field, which just shows how busy things have been this week. So that's gonna keep running through my mind, so rest may not be that easy.
And lastly, TikTok videos are reminding me how cool Cities: Skylines is, and I might just get sucked back down that rabbit hole if I'm not careful. Then again, would that be such a bad thing?
