I did some serious catching up for the Geeky Guide over the past 24 hours and wrote 30+ more board game reviews, along with a long-form article about the different types of industrial/economic games. That brings the total reviews to 275, so just a bit more to push to 300.
That said, I had stayed up late finishing the article and still had to wake up pretty early because of the nephews. But my sister made a day out of it by taking us to this fancy coffee shop to try some pretty out there coffee concoctions.
Weekends are all about the boys, really. We brought them to a playground. I got to join them for their weekly swimming class and it was so cool to see them in the pool. They're really growing up so fast.
We spent a better part of the afternoon at home, which is when I got to write the bulk of my game reviews. I just had periodic interruptions from a little boy who wanted my help to bake virtual pastries in his tablet game.
We ventured out again for dinner and then I only needed two storybooks today to get the little one settled. Which is just as well, as we're going to watch Project Hail Mary at the cinema now that the boys are safely tucked away.
