The Geeky Guide now has at least 185 board game reviews, although I feel like my progress has slowed somewhat. It was a busy weekend, and I didn't get a lot of "work" done on the site in favor of processing more O Bar videos. Google's index of the site remains painfully outdated, with more links still associated with old pages from the Blogger site that I didn't migrate over to Webflow. At least I got to start fresh with Bing - that index is mainly based on the current site, and I'm starting to see some board game-related traffic from there and even DuckDuckGo, which also uses the Bing index. My weekly site traffic is barely getting past 1k sessions on average, so I have a LONG way to go before I get to my targets. I know I should continue to populate the site with more content for now, but there's a big part of me that's hoping to feel greater progress by now.
On the domestic front, the colder weather continues to disrupt our water supply - or at least that's what Maynilad keeps telling us. Regardless of whatever schedule they announce on their social media pages, we seem to get water service back around midnight, but the window only lasts for a few hours. It's just long enough for us to refill the house's water tank, but that's about it. We're able to refill at least every other day, as there have been stretches when we can't seem to catch the small window when water returns, even if the schedule says it's not supposed to be back yet. Case in point, the meter was running steadily for a bit just now, but died some 10-15 minutes later. The tank capacity is pretty good, but we also have to manage our water usage in the interim, including minimizing laundry loads and such.
It's pretty late, so I'm going to go back to working on the Geeky Guide to see if I can get the total number of reviews past 200. Then I'll focus on O Bar videos again tomorrow.
