02FA6: So Much Paperwork

Monday - Tahanan Tinola

It was a very busy Monday. I can't believe I lost most of the day to answering client queries about a report. To be fair, many of the insights they were asking for needed to be derived from over 6 months of data, so that involved quite a lot of number-crunching.

After work, we made a quick grocery run, since we didn't get to resupply at the Sunday market in the village, since...it wasn't that kind of market. We needed to restock on roughage, but it kinda hurt to buy vegetables at supermarket prices again since the Kadiwa market that the village hosts on all other Sundays of the month is so much more affordable. So we tried to limit ourselves to the bare minimum that we needed in order to hold out for the Kadiwa market instead. My only other consolation was that I managed to use my SM Advantage points to pay for our entire grocery bill this week. But that also represents years of points gone in a flash.

Upon returning to the Sietch, our main goal was to finally work through the South Korean visa application form so that we could submit our documents this week. It's a rather lengthy form, and we had to do a lot of cross-referencing of travel history and such in order to fill things up completely. It's our first time to apply, so we're being extra careful with everything. In the interests of time, we probably need to go to the KVAC directly instead of using the courier service, given the processing time is longer as of late February.

Tobie is still pending one last financial doc from his company, but generally, we hope to get everything printed tomorrow, then maybe KVAC on Wednesday? In the meantime, I'm able to book a trip to Singapore for the quarter since my passport will be surrendered to the South Korean embassy.

Philippine travel constraints are so annoying.

Well, getting our documents in order ate up the rest of the night, so processing more O Bar videos will have to wait for tomorrow.
