There's a lot going on at work still - a state of affairs that should last until tomorrow. I normally expect things to turn around by Wednesday, but that hasn't been quite the state of affairs just yet. But I'm still alive, so there's that.
In bright news, I've made a few more achievements with the Geeky Guide:
- I'm up to 87 board game reviews!
- I finally have categories for games - even if I only have 4 broad ones in total
- I also have an acceptably accurate AI prompt for assigning those categories to games
- The main board game reviews page now has a dynamic search box and multiple filters, including the aforementioned categories, along with the primary review criteria
I'm getting pretty handy with Webflow.
In contrast, the Search Console has been sending me new errors related to redirects it can't recognize because the pages haven't been crawled yet. But it's not my fault that Google hasn't properly indexed the new site? What the heck, right?
Anyway, I'm still drafting two long-form articles that will connect multiple board game reviews to one piece of content. I've completed the supporting reviews for the first piece, and I'm maybe halfway through for the second one? Exciting. And this is all to add more robust content to the site so that AdSense will shut up about the site looking thin, even though Google hasn't actually indexed the site so it's not like it has an accurate basis for evaluating the site.
In the meantime, I'm barely keeping pace with my reading goals, and I'm also quite behind on my O Bar video queue. So I'm leaving today's blog post here and going back to YouTube to "work" more.
