Six crowdfunded board games arrived at the Sietch today. For expansions, we have Clank!: Catacombs - Underworld, and Trickerion: Arcane Arts, the last being an expansion that was part of the Anniversary Edition Kickstarter. I had also used this last project to get additional content for Anachrony, including the Future Imperfect and Fractures of Time expansions, along with the Big Box for storing all of the game content. I really indulged in the Anachrony stuff, but I'd like to think all this will make it easier to play the game more, or something like that.
For brand new games, we have another Eagle-Gryphon Lacerda release, Speakeasy, another lovely Red Raven game, Six Sojourns, a rather niche game from Alley Cat Games, Ada's Dream, and finally a big game from a newer publisher, Tend. I backed these different projects for various reasons, and I'm pretty eager to get them all to the table at some point - hopefully sooner rather than later. Speakaeasy is going to be a monster to learn and teach, like all other Lacerda games. I expect that Six Sojourns is going to get to the table first, followed maybe by Tend? I'm not going to ignore Ada's Dream, but it certainly looks like it has a respectable level of difficulty, so it'll take time.
I've managed to get through unboxing and reboxing the content for all of the games save for Trickerion, Anachrony, and Tend, but I'll see what I can finish tonight. I still have O Bar videos to process, and I need to clear more space on my phone, given there's another big birthday show event on Saturday. All this assumes we figure out where to put these games, as we already have a number of them just idling right in front of the TV at this point. There's still space - we just need to optimize how things are stored, as a lot of things are still in the haphazard arrangement after the move last year.
We made a grocery run today, although we mainly needed vegetables and not much else. We're hoping to check out one of the fresh market days in the village on Sundays, but we end up sleeping late because of all-night gaming. Perhaps we'll be better this weekend. Tobie is also mapping out a weird gift for the O Boys again. We have options, but it seems more prudent to order the items online versus in-store for better discounts and even Shopback benefits. Modern life is funny that way.
