It's a quiet Friday night as we have our monthly board game night tomorrow. And at our age, we can't exactly go crazy several nights in a row - some degree of balance is essential. Tobie is running a short online RPG session, but before that, he was asking if we wanted to go out after. We just have no idea what else to do, if ever.
This was my report week at work, and my brain is all numbered out. Apart from figuring out all the reports for last month's performance across different campaigns, I also had to get a few other ad efforts started this week. That was a lot of going back and forth between analyzing what happened before for some clients, while figuring out how to move forward with the new campaigns. These two things seem like they leverage the same thinking bits, but they're still distinct disciplines.
In other news, I called Unionbank again today, and they FINALLY confirmed that my address on file has been updated to the correct Parañaque one. This was (at least) my fifth customer contact with their team and the second ticket I had to file to get the address updated. Even better, I had started today's customer service journey in the fraud queue (like before), but the rep was able to transfer me immediately to the correct agent, whereas two other cases dropped me in a queue that no one answered. With the address finally corrected, I've made the necessary request to get the card delivered. With luck, it'll arrive sometime next week, then I can finally resolve this 1-month+ drama.
