02F21: Shortening The Week

Monday - O Bar Barbecue and Wombok

I deferred doing laundry this morning since the weather forecasts predicted rain some time after lunch and I didn't want to risk it. But, of course, it was sunny for most of the day until the rain did, finally, come down around 05:00pm. And when the rain came pouring down, it was totally cats and dogs, which was rather nuts. I'm glad that we didn't have to step out in that weather. I had enough ingredients to whip up something decent for dinner and we've been keeping things chill for now.

Work was good. Quite busy for a Monday, but that's how Mondays are. There are client concerns and internal concerns and the confluence of things is what makes every workday unique and interesting. I am opting to take the local holiday on Friday so that Tobie and I get a bit more time off together. Plus that's Halloween and we have some fun plans for the O Bar event that night.

I spend part of today figuring out game schedules for November. I thought I had settled things earlier this month, but apparently I mixed things up with the previous cycle. So I locked down our RPG schedules and even set up a few board game schedules with friends. And most importantly, we have at least some gaming plans this long weekend. We know that the end of the year is when scheduling game nights becomes sadly difficult. So we'll take every session that we can while we can.
