I finished Cleaning Up early today, although I really wasn't that invested in the story. I just wanted to get to the end in order to say that I had watched the whole thing before it leaves Netflix. On a lighter note, we also finished Don't Dare to Dream over dinner, and that was a more enjoyable experience, at least. Tobie and I don't super buy into who ended up as a couple at the end of the show, but that's how these things. On paper, it just made more sense for Pyo Na-Ri to end up with the likes of Go Jung-won because he was such a good guy, albeit filthy rich. Was that his narrative fatal flaw?
I was contemplating trying to blitz Dr. Romantic before it leaves the platform on the 22nd, but I didn't realize that it's 2 seasons. It's not clear if just one or both seasons are leaving next week, but that's a total of 37 episodes we'd need to clear. It's rather tiring to watch K-dramas like that - I still prefer our more measured pace of 1-2 episodes per day with English content outside of that.
So, to play a little catch-up outside of Korean entertainment, we're finally getting started on the Interview with a Vampire TV series. There's no particular reason that we waited this long before watching it, but the trailer for The Vampire Lestat sort of reminded us that this whole line of Anne Rice TV shows exists.
It's easier to talk about TV shows than all the work I had to deal with today. Good job, Monday.
