My last Alpaka purchase was back in March when I got Tobie an Elements Tote, and I got myself a Bravo Sling Mini v2 on sale. The tote proved to be a much better purchase of the two, as the Bravo Sling is decent but a little cumbersome for what it is. I've been tempted to get something to replace it, but I'm also trying to commit to it first in order to be smarter about this purchase. So I've ignored a number of new releases this year (but was somewhat tempted by the Admin Pouch Pro if I could figure out how to integrate it into my EDC flow).
Today, they just announced the Zip Passport Wallet, and I'm not sure why I feel so tempted by this product in particular. My frequent travel to Singapore obviously plays a big role since I can totally imagine myself using something like this. My current travel flow includes my Flight Sling with an Ark Passport Sleeve, which has worked for my trips this year. The Flight Sling really is my absolute minimum carry, as things can be quite snug in there. But I've gotten comfy with having the passport sleeve in the convenience pocket at the back of the sling as I navigate the various airport queues. But maybe adding this wrist-mounted sling could be useful. Plus, I could probably figure out a way to attach it to my sling when not immediately needed or something.
Tempting! I'll try to hold off for now in the interests of financial responsibility...but we'll see.
Otherwise, it was a rather busy day of catch-up at work as I had stuff from the weekend and all of Monday that I needed to clear today. I got my urgent stuff out of the way, but there are still other things that I'll need to think about tomorrow. One of those days.
