Because Tobie's Lakbay Likha roadshow involved representatives from the DICT, I finally installed the eGovPH app. As someone who still hasn't bothered applying for his National ID, I wasn't sure what to expect. At the very least, I have a virtual PhilHealth ID, so that's something. I've uploaded my passport information, so it has a pretty seamless link to the likes of the TIEZA website for paying travel tax online and to eTravel for making travel declarations. I tried checking out my SSS and HDMF accounts, and I didn't even have to log in - it seamlessly brought me to my individual account pages for those agencies, so that was rather cool. But I also recognize that my address information is terribly out-of-date across my different accounts, so paperwork is going to be needed. The app is a good step forward, but the backend processes for the different agencies remain very manual.
In other news, the combination of my Singapore trip last month and last week's Pangasinan trip, I've fallen significantly behind on my processing of O Bar videos. I cleared a batch yesterday, but that still leaves me with 125 videos in my queue. I'm a few books behind pace for my reading goals, but at least I managed to do a lot of catching up while up north.
So yeah, I'm not going to invest too much time in today's blog post because I'm eager to get another O Bar night's worth of videos published on YouTube.
I also don't know what else to talk about today. Work took up most of my brain space, and I've been working on various ad-related initiatives left and right. Whether it's media plans, generating new ad copy at scale, or just setting up different campaigns here and there - it's a lot. But I also choose not to go into detail about work because that's just wrong, so that doesn't leave me with much else to say.
So that's all for now.
