I just realized that I left my laptop power cord at the office, so it looks like I'm largely going to be limited to my phone. This is still relatively manageable - I haven't exactly been using my laptop a lot at home. Plus we have a pretty busy weekend agenda ahead, so laptop time was going to be minimal either way.
But... it's still going to nag at me to some degree. Oh well.
It's a good thing I've shifted my personal workflow to better enable mobile blogging. It was more of a struggle in previous years before I got on the Canva train. Now I'm able to put together a decent blog header image on the fly then work my way through blogging via my mobile browser. Blogger never got around to releasing a dedicated app to make this whole experience better, but I suppose it can't be helped.
Maybe I should get around to just dictating my thoughts and have my phone figure it out or shift to some sort of micro-vlogging effort. Blogging is still quite comforting though, especially as an end-of-day activity.
Work wasn't too crazy today, which is kinda perfect for a Friday shift. Our one interview didn't pan out, so I got to spend more of the time catching up on other tasks that had piled up over the week. They were all still important things that needed to be addressed, but at the same time they still weren't as urgent as other things, especially when compared to stuff that have a more direct impact on clients. So it was nice to just have time to work on my own and clear things from my personal checklist.
Kinda excited for tomorrow. Beyond a sure to be awesome dimsim brunch, we're aiming to check out the Jurassic World: The Experience over by Gardens By The Bay. It's at the same dome that hosted the Avatar experience some time back, but of course animatronic dinosaurs are definitely more awesome. I just need to steel myself for that upper walkway. That one makes my legs feel like jelly as I traverse it - but I know I'll need to in order to see EVERYTHING.
Have a good weekend, everyone!
