I was too lazy to cook dinner tonight, so we ended up stepping out for dinner at BF. There's a Japanese place called Kome that's really growing on us, but catching a parking slot is such a pain. The last time we tried to go, we managed to park, but they had no available tables. The challenges of small restaurants. We had better luck today and probably spent too much, but at least it made for a good dinner.
In other news, Josh Wood, the designer of Let's Go! To Japan has officially announced the next game in the series - Let's Go! To France. We all figured a sequel game was inevitable, given where they put the exclamation point in the name of the game, and provided the first game did well enough, and clearly it did. It's a pretty solid card drafting game that really celebrates the travel theme well. We kinda hoped they'd go for something like "Let's Go! To Korea" or something, but I guess that's too close to Japan for now, so time for some European representation first. And we're still going to get the game, given how much we enjoy the first one and how it would be nice to "explore" France, even just through a board game.
The week is going by so fast. Just two more shifts, then the weekend, and then I'll be flying to Singapore. I'm already making a conscious effort to only wear things that I don't plan to wear while in there, so that I don't have to stress over getting them washed in time. And the predominantly cloudy weather as of late has been making laundry a bit more challenging.
Time moves inexorably forward.
