Today was a great day, albeit a tiring one. We accomplished a lot all while entertaining 5 little boys all at once. It takes a village indeed!
We started off with a great dimsum breakfast at East Ocean. We don't always get to do this while I'm in town, so it's always a treat when it happens. Plus it's in the same mall as (the now smaller) Books Kinokuniya, which is still a fun experience even if I'm less likely to buy physical books these days. I did add a number of books to my Kindle wishlist because man, East Asians are releasing a LOT of books about getting away from the stresses of the working world.
The main highlight of the day was exploring the Jurassic World Experience over at Gardens by the Bay. It's set up at the Cloud Dome, which is the same venue that hosted the Avatar Experience. But this felt like a much more interesting walkthrough attraction. It probably helps that this had more animatronics than Avatar, whereas that experience had more interactive elements. So the two experiences had their distinct flavors and charms that made them fun in different ways.
We didn't have much energy for anything else (we totally ignored the bundled ticket for the Flower Dome) and just went home. That have time for all the boys to have fun on their own while at the adults just tried to chill.
Tomorrow isn't going to be as busy, I think, but we'll see how things pan out. I am going to sleep so well tonight.
