02EA6: Thought Divesting

Thursday - Solo SaladStop!

There's a lot of HR-related work that I have to look forward to in the coming weeks, and it is sort of looming over me. But that's the nature of the job, and I'll just roll with it. I just needed to write this down to help process things. In the meantime, we've been having a lot of meetings pretty much back-to-back on top of our regular duties, but we'll make things work somehow.

Also, I've booked my next work trip at the end of July, and already the nephews have strongly-worded requests for their uncle. I'm glad that such travel also means more family time - even if the boys are quite a handful at this point.

In brighter news, Pride weekend is just around the corner, and I'm definitely looking forward to the big O Bar event this Saturday. We may not be joining any of the big daytime events, but the O Bar party is still very important to us. We all commemorate Pride in different ways, and this is our main thing.

We still have a lot of "free time" this weekend as we haven't calendared other events. BGA is always around to help fill in the gaps without the need to drag friends over. Plus, we probably want to save our traveling energy to get to and from the O Bar Pride event on Saturday. That always demands a lot from us given the expected number of people and other bits of craziness.

Lastly, I've given in to Netflix reminders that Suits is about to leave the platform, so we're finally getting around to watching the ninth season. The show really lost steam after the Mike Ross character left...even if he was quite annoying. But we'll see how things go. At least Donna is still around.
