02EA3: Back to Monday

Monday - Pork Sinigang

Work was quite busy today with a fair amount of paperwork. I knew this was my "fate" for the day, given what I had left unresolved last week. It wasn't too crazy, but it was a lot of detailed work, and I'm just glad that I got everything squared away by the end of the day. I was in a good mood by the time I clocked out and got some pork sinigang started for dinner.

I ended up needing to provide remote technical support for my sister to get her mesh set up in her new home. We were hoping things would be plug-and-play after the move, but it seems the change in their ISP router necessitated resetting the whole system and reinstalling it from scratch, which was something I tried to avoid initially. I've gotten pretty used to figuring out mesh networks due to multiple installations across homes and such, but each brand's approach is different. I'm just glad we ultimately got things working.

Our online troubleshooting session had nephew-driven commercial breaks as they made different requests. The more demanding younger one has firmly associated that I'm the uncle with Transformers, and he always wants to see my toys and how to transform them.

We're in the middle of an online Pendragon game with a different group where Tobie is one of the players instead of the GM, which is a different kind of fun. We haven't been able to play this particular campaign for about a month now, so it's nice to be back, even if it creates a bit of internal confusion for me as I try to differentiate my two knightly characters from the two separate Pendragon games.
