Tobie and I both had so many aches pains after our Komiket Pride weekend, that I booked us for massages after work to try to alleviate some of the weariness and fatigue. My back was killing me after mostly standing during the three days, but thankfully the massage seems to have helped with that for now. I'll know for sure in the morning after a good night's rest.
It probably doesn't help that the ongoing repair work at the Sietch means I haven't been able to do my usual yoga in the morning. The workers tend to come pretty early and that makes it harder to plan things out. We're down to waiting for the painters to finish up but with the added need for the AC repair guys to check on the living room unit and try to figure out what's wrong. The AC died last Thursday, but thankfully the rainy weather and being away at Komiket have minimized our need to deal with the heat.
The general weariness and lethargy didn't make getting through the workday easier, but work is work is work. Just being out on Friday generated a fair amount of backlog for me, but I managed to clear everything by the end of the day. That leaves other things that need doing come tomorrow - the cycle continues.
Last bit, I know it's a local holiday on Thursday, but we'll still have work. And given how I already took the last holiday off for Komiket, I'll definitely be working through the week to make up for things.
