Some time back, we discovered that there was a weird crack in our bedroom wall - one that you could actually see through all the way outside. We got someone to look at it, and it turns out that the old air conditioning vent had just been covered up with wood and painted over, so the "crack" was actually the separation along that hole. It took a while to corral the contractor to actually work on it, and they got started today. The first day involved them removing the old wood and putting in hollow blocks and cement. They have to let it set before continuing work, but at least there isn't a hole in our bedroom at the moment. I think we're going to be able to sleep in our bed (which we covered as best we could during the work), although we will switch things and have our heads away from the wall that's being repaired just to be safe. Things should be resolved within the week at the latest, and that'll be one more improvement made to the Sietch.
I processed another two O Bar nights' worth of videos, and I'm down to like two more nights in my queue. But for tonight, I have the weird urge to play Stellaris again, even though I'm so not up-to-date on the latest patch and whatever changes they've added into the game. But I dunno, there's a weird comfort to losing myself in that game. One can view it less as a strategy game and more as a science fiction headcannon simulator.
This is probably related to why I have us catching up with For All Mankind this week as well, I suppose.
Last thing: I made the mistake of checking out the comments sections for various Pride Month posts that have appeared in my Facebook feed. The results were...disappointing, doesn't even begin to describe it. I think only the QC government's pride month greeting was tolerable. The rest, whether on the page of a major media outlet or another local government unit, were filled with a lot of intolerante crap. The LGBTQI community in the Philippines remains a marganalized minority.
