Because of a rather brilliant ASL Theatre production of Hamilton (you HAVE to at least watch how they did Wait For It), I found myself listening to the soundtrack again throughout the day. As much as we love this musical, I'll concede that it has been a while since we last really sat down to listen to the music again. There are some serious bangers in this show, and I'm now aiming to get myself more comfortable singing some of them just because I wanna take a stab at it.
On that note, I can't think of a lot of songs from musicals that I know by heart or at least would feel comfortable singing during a karaoke-like experience. And as I'm always on the lookout for more songs to sing when I jam with the O2Men at O Bar, it does feel like about time that I revisit my favorite musicals. I just need to focus on which songs can be sung solo by a male with my limited vocal range. Challenge accepted!
I feel like I'm in a bit of a drift today. I still got through work, and it was good that I didn't have any client meetings to start the week with. I managed to transform some leftovers into a decent dinner and we watched another episode of The Devil's Plan while we ate. There's still time for me to either work on some more O Bar videos or maybe play a board game with Tobie before bed. Let's see how the rest of Monday goes.
